Attraction to Hell and Resistance to Paradise

From Abu Huraira r.a., Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The (Hell) Fire is surrounded by all kinds of desires and passions, while Paradise is surrounded by all kinds of disliked undesirable things.”
(Sahih Bukhari)
Huraian Hadith:
- The struggle between truth and falsehood is a norm in human life. Mankind is always tempted to do things that lead to lust while matters that promise Paradise are always faced with obstacles and resistances. That is the challenges of faith.
- Allah s.w.t. gives good tidings to those who are willing to sacrifice their desires to serve in the ways of Allah s.w.t. that they will be rewarded with Paradise which is filled with luxuries and pleasures.
- The strength of faith will remain protected in the best possible way when there exist consistent values in the heart. Patience is a key to that strength. It makes people able to withstand from being influenced by any temptations that draw them to Hell, or in other words, patience is the bitter-most, yet effective medicine for people to achieve Paradise.
