Hadith:
From Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman r.a. who has reported hearing from Abu Huraira r.a., Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: “There is no contagion” and has added: “A sick person should not be taken to one who is healthy.” (By Muslim,)
Huraian Hadith:
We are always reminded to adopt a healthy lifestyle for our health. If we practice it, we might get the optimum level of health. But if the opposite occurs, for example, we are preoccupied and are living an unhealthy lifestyle; we will be vulnerable to and have a high risk of contracting a variety of diseases. Although we realise that every disease has a cure, prevention is better than cure. The extent to which we appreciate and practice the wisdom of this advice is up to us. Diseases do not spread by themselves, but with the will of Allah s.w.t. Other than to seek medical help, we should pray to Allah s.w.t. for His help.
