961 The Dwellers of Paradise are the Best Muslims
Abdullah b. Mas'ud r.a. reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressing us said, meaning: “Aren't you pleased that you should constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise?” Abdullah said: “We quickly requested it to be increased.” He, then, again said: “Aren't you pleased that you should constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise?” Abdullah said: “We requested for it to be even more.” Finally, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then again said: “I hope that you would constitute half of the inhabitants of Paradise and I shall explain to you its (reason). The believers among the unbelievers would not be more than a white hair on (the body of a) black ox or a black hair on (the body of a) white ox.”

962 Advantages of the Mu’min and Disadvantages of the Apostates
Anas b. Malik r.a. reported that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) thus told him: “When a non-believer does good he is made to taste its reward in this world. And so far as the believer is concerned, Allah stores (the reward) of his virtues for the hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to Him.”

963 Fragrant Soul and Foul Soul
Abu Huraira r.a. reported: “When the soul of a believer would go out (of his body) it would be received by two angels who would take it to the sky. Hammad (one of the narrators in the chain of transmitters) mentioned the sweetness of its odour, (and further said) that the dwellers of the sky say: Here comes the pious soul from the side of the earth Let there be blessings of Allah upon the body in which it resides. And it is carried (by the angels) to its Lord, the Exalted and Glorious. He would say: Take it to its destined end. And if he is a non-believer and as it (the soul) leaves the body – Hammad made a mention of its foul smell and of its being cursed – the dwellers of the sky say: There comes a dirty soul from the side of the earth, and it would be said: Take it to its destined end.”

964 Cleanliness and Sanitation in Islam
A'isya r.a. reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said meaning: “Ten are the acts according to fitra: clipping the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, snuffing water in the nose, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the hair under the armpits, shaving the pubes and cleaning one's private parts with water. The narrator said: I have forgotten the tenth, but it may have been rinsing the mouth.”

965 Human Characteristics
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said meaning, "If the son of Adam were given a valley full of gold, he would love to have a second one; and if he were given the second one, he would love to have a third, for nothing fills the belly of Adam's son except dust. And Allah forgives he who repents to Him."

Dari Abu Sai'd. Al-Khudri r.a, dari Nabi SAW sabdanya:Hindarilah daripada duduk-duduk di pinggir jalan! Jawab para sahabat, Kami terpaksa duduk-duduk di situ membincangkan hal-hal yang perlu. Sabda Rasulullah SAW, Jika memang perlu kalian duduk-duduk di situ berikan hak jalanan. Mereka bertanya:Apa haknya, ya Rasulullah Jawab baginda :Tundukkan pandangan, jangan mengganggu, jawab salam (orang yang lalu) menganjurkan kebaikan dan mencegah yang mungkar.

974 Wrong Upbringing
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Amr b. al-'As that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) observed: Abusing one's parents is one of the major sins. They (the hearers) said: “Messenger of Allah, does a man abuse his parents too?” He (the Holy Prophet) replied: “Yes, one abuses the father of another man, who in turn abuses his father. One abuses his mother and he in turn abuses his (the former's) mother.”

979 The Signs of Judgement Day
Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: “What are you discussing? They (the Companions) said: “We are discussing the Last Hour”. Thereupon he said: “It will not come until you see ten signs before and (in this connection) he made a mention of the smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary (Allah be pleased with him), the Gog and Magog...”

980 The Times for Asr, Isya’ and Subh
Narrated by Abu Barza Al-Islami r.a. who said: “Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed Asr prayer. Then one of us had returned to his place of resident outside the city when the sun was still bright. Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) liked to delay Isya' prayer, and he did not like to sleep before it or speak after it. He performed Subh prayer at a time when it was possible for a person to recognise the person sitting beside him and he used to recite 60 to 100 verses of the Quran.”
