Akidah Hadith:
From Abu Huraira r.a. who said: “A bedouin urinated in the mosque, and the people rushed to beat him. Allah's Apostle ordered them to leave him and pour a bucket or a tumbler (full) of water over the place where he has passed urine. The Prophet then said, “You have been sent to make things easy (for the people) and you have not been sent to make things difficult for them.”
Huraian Hadith:
- Rasulullah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) reprimand in this hadith serves as a guide to Muslims to act wisely and to admonish in a good way. In fact, it is one of the most important da’wah strategies.
- The mosque is a holy place of which its cleanliness must be maintained. Therefore, the congregation must adhere to the rules and regulations as set by the mosque’s management, for the benefit of all.
- “To simplify and not to complicate” is one of Islam’s basic principles which must be prioritised when doing anything, so long as it does not violate the Islamic laws.
