  • 90th MKI Fatwa Committee Discussion

    The discussions which was chaired by Prof. Dato' Dr. Abdul Shukor bin Hussein began at 9.00 am and was attended by eleven Muftis, six Members appointed by the Conference of Rulers and Dato' Wan Mohamad bin Dato' Sheikh Abdul Aziz, JAKIM Director General as the Committee Secretary. Also present at this discussions were two Deputy Director General of JAKIM i.e. Director of Planning and Research Division and Director of Fatwa Management Division.

    On 14 April 2010, located at Syura Hall, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) a Special Muzakarah of National Council Fatwa Committee for Malaysian Islamic Affairs was held, chaired by Prof. Dato' Dr. Abd. Shukor bin Husin.

    A total of 11 muftis, three representatives of Mufti and five other Members appointed by the Conference of Rulers were present at the Special Muzakarah which lasted for about three hours starting at 9.30 am.
