SPEECH BY DIRECTOR GENERAL JAKIM

Speech by the Director-General of JAKIM

Praise be to Allah s.w.t. and selawat (blessings) and salam (greetings) to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his family and companions.

JAKIM is a religious agency at the Federal level which provides various services to develop the management of Islamic affairs in this country. The development of this website is one of JAKIM’s efforts to strengthen the management of Islamic affairs as well as to quickly spread the latest knowledge and information about Islam to the people.

In line with the aims and goals of the country’s leadership in realising 1Malaysia: People First, Performance Now, the Internet is hoped to assist in accelerating the services provided by this department to the people.

 

As a religious agency at the Federal level, JAKIM wishes to portray the image of an agency that transforms the country’s management of Islamic affairs specifically and the world at large in general.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has visited JAKIM’s website and hope that you have gained something different and useful.
