The speech by the Honorary Minister

 

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

 

 

Praise be to Allah s.w.t. for that which He bestowed upon us, and selawat (blessings) and salam (greetings) to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

 

I would like to convey my heartfelt congratulations on the success and ongoing endeavours to the development of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia website. I hope that all these good efforts will ensure continued success of our fellow Muslims in preaching the Islamic da’wah in this era of information technology.

 

This website should serve as an additional resource on information pertaining to the current problems faced by Muslims specifically and the world at large in general. In other words, this website should aim to become an Islamic portal to fulfil the needs of all Muslims as well as to portray the real Islamic model.

 

In conclusion, with the continuing efforts to develop this website, it will raise the dignity of Islam and also rebut any misconceptions among Muslims.
