Couples who want to get married must apply and get permission to get married through the District Islamic Religious Office (PAID) in their respective states. Online Marriage Permission Application is an initiative of Jakim in collaboration with the state Islamic Religious Departments for the purpose of providing convenience to the general public and couples who want to get married, especially applying for marriage permission.
Online Marriage Permission Application currently only covers applications made in Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Federal Territory, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka, but this facility will continue to be expanded to include other states in the near future.

Pendaftaran kursus PraPerkahwinan secara online pada masa ini hanya meliputi permohonan yang dibuat di Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Wilayah Persekutuan,Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, dan Johor namun kemudahan ini akan terus diperluaskan bagi merangkumi negeri-negeri lain di dalam masa yang terdekat.
